Sorry for Asking the Question That Prevented a Disaster

Clarity reduces mistakes caused by miscommunication between departments or team members. Training your support team to communicate clearly helps them handle complex situations confidently.

Seeking clarity is something I hang my hat on. Actually, I can’t help myself. I’m naturally curious, not embarrassed to ask questions, even if others think I should know the answer. I only need to hear one customer say “man, I’m glad you asked that” to keep me going.

Asking questions equally annoys and impresses my husband. He’s often afraid I will offend someone and then when I get an answer that benefits us, he smiles and shakes his head.

I encourage questions as long as they are authentic. Quite often there will be someone afraid to ask and when you step up it allows them to further the discussion.
